Salish Sea Greens’ mission is simple: to connect people to the incredible seafood and sea vegetables of the Pacific Northwest while promoting sustainable aquaculture.

The company began with a focus on cultivating and introducing edible kelp to Washington consumers, soon becoming the first business in the state to receive approval to sell cultivated kelp for human consumption.

Today, the company’s passion for local marine foods has expanded beyond kelp to oysters and other sustainably harvested seafood, allowing its founders— Stephen Schreck, Brandon Rake and Talina Wood—to create unique culinary experiences that celebrate the Salish Sea.

In addition to fresh oysters on the half shell (a fan favorite includes pairing them with a house-made habanero kelp mignonette), the company offers grilled oysters, rockfish ceviche, seafood boils, mussels, chowder and other Pacific Northwest specialties that highlight local producers.

Today, Salish Sea Greens operates in two complementary areas: mobile oyster bar and seafood catering. Enjoy its fare at pop-ups all around the island at Bainbridge’s wineries, breweries, distilleries and local businesses.
