It's Friday, I'm in Love

It’s no secret that Bainbridge is a destination. Especially during summertime, Winslow is awash with day trippers taking in the enchantment of our charming town center. But by early evening, the tourists have largely cleared out and returned to Seattle. Our streets quiet down and thin out. That is… until the beginning of a new month rolls around and we locals descend upon downtown for First Friday Art Walk.

The event definitely has art, but there’s lots more to love too. The galleries, shops and brokerages open their doors, breaking out wine, cocktails and charcuterie boards. The restaurants are in full swing and we get to sit down at our favorite spots. Live music fills the air, and you can’t swing a cat without running into friends and neighbors. There are lots of hugs and laughter. It’s truly a celebration of what it’s like to be a villager. And it is, indeed, magic.
